After Covid: ‘I’ve blood clots and a braced leg, but I’m home’

After a long and challenging battle with Covid-19, I am finally back home. However, my road to recovery is far from over. Despite being discharged from the hospital, I am still dealing with the aftermath of the virus.

One of the most concerning issues I am facing is blood clots. Covid-19 has been known to increase the risk of blood clots, and unfortunately, I was one of the unlucky ones to develop this complication. It has been a scary and painful experience, but I am grateful to have medical professionals monitoring my condition closely.

In addition to the blood clots, I also have a braced leg. This is due to the muscle weakness and fatigue I experienced during my battle with Covid-19. It is difficult to walk and move around, but I am determined to regain my strength and mobility.

Despite these challenges, I am grateful to be home with my loved ones. Their love and support have been a crucial part of my recovery journey. I am taking things one day at a time, focusing on rest, proper nutrition, and following my healthcare provider’s instructions.

Although my journey has been tough, I am hopeful for a full recovery. I am determined to overcome these obstacles and emerge stronger than ever. I have faith that with patience, perseverance, and the support of my loved ones, I will be able to overcome the lingering effects of Covid-19.

My message to others who may be facing similar challenges is to never lose hope. The road to recovery may be long and difficult, but with the right mindset and support system, anything is possible. We are stronger than we think, and together, we can overcome any obstacle that comes our way.
